The men who lied made profits by killing other men
on an isle of sand they lay and wait till storm or by deciept
An unwary ship would make its last trip
its treasure Wreckers keep

And Its Heave Haul Away Boys
We'll Haul into the Sand
And blood was traded for the riches of the other men
Its Heavy Haul Away Boys
We'll Haul into the Sea
Well living in Wreckers Den
There is no life for me

Blood ran cold in August
As gales they did blow
And Ships would drift into Sable Island's grip
Where Wrecker's lived like wolves
They stole from stranded sea men
Who's ships the sea did take
The cargos theirs, no life was spared
In the sea n time for a wake
